@Char MWWOJ#1 was crossed to Blue Bayou and a few seedlings so far this year. I don't put pods on first year blooms [after killing a few in olden days].

I'm sure they would have quite the romance, producing amazing patterned babies! I only have one fan of #2 right now, but we should trade those some future year.

Here are some of my seedlings out of UF breeding.

Dancing Flamingo x a UF #3 is a four year old. I hope I will be able to register it at some point. It had 18 buds the first year it bloomed. But last year in a drought only had 14. This year with late freezes, it only has 13-15. I wonder if we'll ever have normal weather again.

Hmm, I always pod first year bloomers. Can't say that I've ever killed one doing it. I even move the first year keepers with pods on in late summer.

No Boys Allowed X Entwined in the Vine #1 and Confessions of a Hemaholic X Silver Sword #3 are my 2 favorites in this group.

I haven't posted any seedlings so far this year, although I do have a few, but I thought I'd start with two toothies that just bloomed in the last couple of days.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN X CASPER'S REVENGE (This bloom got caught in the sprinklers early in the morning, unfortunately)


And its sibling that bloomed a couple of days ago.


Neither of these bloomed last year, so I was happy to see them again!

Betty - I love both of God Save the Queen X Casper's Revenge kids. That's a really pretty edge on the first one!

I love all of the above.
I was out in Roger's garden today. I started telling him he had a gem on and on I went about it until he came over to where I was. He looked at the seedling and said nothing special to me.
I disagree just look at it. I love how frilly it is.
