Plant me outdoors! I'm not a houseplant. I need pollinators. Smiling

Since it is now Summer, I would prune it and perhaps repot into larger pot with fresh soil. Place it outside into a protected spot and let it run, making sure the soil never dries out! It will bloom! Smiling
Bring back inside in the Fall.
Now if it is the hardy P. incarnata, one might consider planting it outside and leave it in the ground.

I tip my hat to you. to an amazing vine, but as said, I doubt it will bloom indoors since it hasn't yet. Flowers are the icing on the cake, I think it's been searching for the right place to actually bloom and cannot find it inside, in lower light and a pot.
Plant it and they will come.

Hi Plantcollector,
I just joined because I also have a question I will be asking soon.Your dad's passion vine looks beautiful! But I think I have a little insight on your question. I planted a blue passion maypop in my yard 7-8 years ago. It's still going strong. In fact the birds and bugs drop seeds everywhere and it is coming up all over my yard. The plant is very attuned to sunlight. The flowers never open early in the day. The flowers only open in late afternoon when the sun starts going down and they only last until early morning so you only get to enjoy each one for a few hours in the evening.
I am enclosing pictures of mine so you can all have a good chuckle! I planted it against a big old pine tree that was dying because the tree was very bare and ugly and I didn't have the time to cut it down. And I thought it would be awesome covered in passion flowers. It didn't work out the way I had hoped! It shot right up to the top of the tree! All I get to see are brown, bare vines! It's very happy there but I usually just get to see the flowers and fruits with my binoculars. Only a few times a year does it bloom down at my level!
Happy gardening everyone.
Debbie
