I love Lantana in my beds. I'm zones north and every year get the scarlet, Dallas red (I think) and a hot combo of red/orange. Watch the types that either sprawl or are more upright. I like both depending on what happens in the garden. The sprawler loves to slip between the other blooms and it's like a little surprise. You can try overwintering inside but I have found my house is too dry in the winter and it hates me because I'm not a super waterer some days. In fact I can be terrible.

Enjoy! Love it if at some point you could post photos. I imagine some of the same types of things I see in the English Garden magazine.

I just got 2 pots of lantana, one sunny yellow the other white, on clearance at Lowe's for $1 each. I'm going to pop them into a window box on the deck rail and see what happens. I might try overwintering them in the house, but it kinda gets like a jungle in here when I move the boston ferns, etc. indoors *HA*

I know how it goes with the winter move in!

And then,

I forget to water on a regular basis.

Ah well, good luck with these!

I am terrible about watering too. But I learned the hard way to weekly water the boston ferns if I don't want to wade thru piles of tiny shed leaves. When I vacuum them, some get picked up, the rest blow around like confetti. What a mess! 😊 Rolling my eyes.
