I used to have seeds for a morning glory that color that grew "wild" in my friend E's backyard. I don't have the seeds anymore and not sure if the MG still grows in her backyard. I think it was a very old variety called "Grandpa Ott."

Great find on the raised bed!

You are correct! Ding, ding, ding, ding! You win the prize. It is Grandpa Ott. I've had this growing in my garden for 6 years. I gave some seeds to one of my neighbors and now it is prolific at her house. She loves it, I love it, and I have a huge container of it growing up a trellis. Lovey dubby
