Hi, my wife has a Ficus Adurey and she noticed that some of the branches were wet. She squeezed them and water came out. Also, many leaves had fallen off. We cut off the stems that were soaked, what happened to it?

Members here would need a little more care info and photos help too.
How long have you had your Banyan Tree (Ficus benghalensis 'Audrey')
Has it been repotted? If so, how long ago?
Does the pot have drainage holes?
How often is it watered? How much and how do you decide when to water?
How close to the nearest light source/window?

@Bdun12 Welcome!
.... not enough info to determine what might be wrong. Are you sure the branches were WET, or might it be honeydew (sticky insect excreta) on the leaves. There is no physiological reason, other than being wet from an extraneous source (rain, dew, condensation ....) that branches should be wet. Too much and too little water in the soil both lead to less water being taken up via the root pathway and a drought response.

Please provide images of A) the entire plant and its pot, and B) areas on the plant most affected by what you're describing. Answering the questions Sue asked would also give us more to go on.
