Hello, I recently purchased this from Golden Valley Botanicals and Jessica said the name was, Rosemarinus Officinalis, 'Upright', which I did find through Google. Is this the same as the one in the database, Mrs. Jessop's Upright? Thanks for your help, Pat

Rosmarinus officinalis is considered a synonym with the accepted scientific name being Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus)

Having just visited several sites, I suspect that if it's simply listed as "upright", that is a descriptive term to distinguish a generic S. rosemarinus from prostrate form, whereas 'Miss Jessop's Upright" (or Jessopp's) is a cultivar.

Yup, just a descriptive common name.
