I got this plant from Shive ( Debra…see above photos!) She told me that it was like Heavenly Angel Ice on steroids. It has definitely proved to be the stronger plant. However, it's still taking its time establishing.

Planted October of 2021, it stayed at three fans until this Spring when it added a fan. There was a short bloom in 2022 from June 30-July 13 with 8 blooms.
This year HSW bloomed from July 1-19 with at least 18 flowers, so a big improvement.

The flowers are large and splashy. Yes, I find white flowers to be splashy. They glow and the eye is drawn to them immediately. I love the curly , cascading blooms. It hasn't reached its final scape stats yet, the plant is still blooming pretty short, definitely nowhere near 43 inches. Probably more like 26".

Planted this one in 2020 as a ( sf ) on the west side of house and it has increased but the performance is still not close as the scapes only get up to around 30" or so and bud count is low. The flowers are nice but I don't think they are as large as they're suppose to be.
Will give it a couple more years to see what it can do before a decision is made to keep or toss it.

I have has this one since spring '21 and have loved it from the first bloom. It's my favorite Gossard white. An improved HAI and still at $100 on the Heavenly Garden's website. Here, its stats aren't as good as registration might indicate- this year: budcount 10-18, height 25" to 30" It blooms mid to late in my garden. Here it is June 8th as it starts blooming:

Rebloom begins July 25th or so, with 4-way wide branching and a tendency to "posy up. " Reblooms scapes are somewhat taller (at 30" this year), but not every fan will produce one.

It has just about everything I want in a daylily: clean color, beautiful/interesting and symmetrical bloom form, wide branching, rebloom and hardiness. Maybe even rust-resistance, according to Zoia! For me it has been pod difficult. It is not a fast increaser here, perhaps due to dry spells and hard dormancy leading to a shorter growing season. Only three fans bloomed this year, with one bodacious rebloom scape. But I see many smaller fans at this point, so we are getting there.
