I have has this one since spring '21 and have loved it from the first bloom. It's my favorite Gossard white. An improved HAI and still at $100 on the Heavenly Garden's website. Here, its stats aren't as good as registration might indicate- this year: budcount 10-18, height 25" to 30" It blooms mid to late in my garden. Here it is June 8th as it starts blooming:
Rebloom begins July 25th or so, with 4-way wide branching and a tendency to "posy up. " Reblooms scapes are somewhat taller (at 30" this year), but not every fan will produce one.
It has just about everything I want in a daylily: clean color, beautiful/interesting and symmetrical bloom form, wide branching, rebloom and hardiness. Maybe even rust-resistance, according to Zoia! For me it has been pod difficult. It is not a fast increaser here, perhaps due to dry spells and hard dormancy leading to a shorter growing season. Only three fans bloomed this year, with one bodacious rebloom scape. But I see many smaller fans at this point, so we are getting there.
