I'm so sorry you got hurt! I hope you are ok. It will be pretty sore for a week, I speak from experience. I've had my share of trips and falls too. It's one of the reasons that I now make sure to hammer in any little pieces of wood or even worse rebar that I use to support the edges of my raised beds WELL DOWN below the edge of the bed. I took a fall last year and thank god I did not land on a piece of rebar that was jutting up. It's easy to trip when you're working as hard as you do in a garden, plants, roots, tools, it's all just waiting to get you! I've got a horrific bruise above my right hip that I have NO IDEA what I did to get it.

I was carrying things, hurrying, got distracted just long enough to catch something with my toe, tried to recover but my upper body kept moving forward and downward. It only takes one step, one second and it's all over! Splat!
