Thank you for all the nice comments about Alpenglow Magic... and the cake! I was waiting to find out like the rest of you what daylily would be the 100,000 registration. So it was a huge surprise when Elizabeth called to let me know Alpenglow Magic was the 100,000th daylily registered. When I answered the phone and realized who it was I thought she was calling to tell me one of my names had been rejected. What really excites me too Emma and Debra, is that Alpenglow Magic is a Sculpted form. Seeing a Sculpted form with this place in daylily history is personally very exciting to me.

Congratulations, Char! I love the milestone, and I really like that Alpenglow Magic is indicative of your work in hybridizing as well. The whole thing just seems right.

I'm so glad you like Where There is Desire, Zoia. It's a favorite of mine and a good parent too. Alpenglow Magic is a slightly lighter pink with more relief. Sorry, I should have posted images. I was waiting for Dave to update the database so I could enter them and wasn't thinking.

Congrats @Char A great milestone and wonderful to have the recognition for sculpted daylilies. Alpenglow Magic resembles Embellished Pink a bit, but must say Alpenglow Magic is more balanced and shows better form. Very nice!
