I received my issue today. Loved reading the articles about the history of registrations. Daylily name articles are always so fun to read. Had a good chuckle over the paragraph under "Names I don't want to explain to children". With a garden full of Hanson daylilies I could add a few to his list As always Adele did a fantastic job putting together another great Daylily Journal.

Just got my Daylily Journal today, Char, and was thrilled to see that your new intro ALPENGLOW MAGIC was featured on the cover as the 100,000th daylily ever registered - what a great milestone! I searched on your website for it and found it under Sculpted Forms, and I guess it's already sold out. That's sad for me, since it's listed as a SEV and I would love to have that important daylily in my garden if you thought it wouldn't behave more as a DOR rather than as a SEV in warmer climates - I've learned my lesson on trying to grow dormants here in Bakersfield. But congratulations Char - you truly deserve recognition for that sculpted beauty! It really is gorgeous, just my kind of daylily!
