I have uploaded a photo. and desperately need the info on the Iris. I found it growing on a farm in Ky. Can anyone ID this Iris?

Do you mean you need to find the cultivar name?
The common name is Bearded Iris and the scientific name is Iris x germanica.
Others hopefully may have some suggestions for a cultivar name. The streaks may just be an anomaly.

it looks like the one I am trying to ID, but mine came from an iris grower's iris society sale leftovers in 1992, and I didn't know to write the names down. She's gone now.
