Hello , New to this site and I am hoping someone can help me in telling me what might be wrong with my Robin Hood Rose bush . The bush is over 50 years old , my Dad bought a bunch of them years ago and planted them on the family farm and when we left the farm , family members dug up and trans planted many of the bushes. I am going to attempt to down load some pictures , for the past few years the rose bush has developed these nasty looking shoots that are not productive at all and don't do anything but grow nasty and never develop any flowers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Rose Rosette Disease is exactly what the issue is with my rose bush . I apologize for not putting any photos , I'm not sure why I am having such a hard time getting pictures to download here , but anyhow my question has been answered and from doing some research on this issue it seems that there is nothing that can be done to resolve it except to do the unfortunate ....... Complete Removal of plant and root system Crying
Thank you again for the response and information Thank You!
