I can only answer generally about the use of photos. When the members upload their photos, they are given several choices of how they want their photos used. The main image for the plant shows All Rights Reserved when you click on it for viewing. This one is by
@Calif_Sue.
With me using the @ symbol, it will notify her, so she can see this. If it was a different image by a other person, you can click on their name to get to their profile. From there, you will see a link near the top... Send _______ a Tree-Mail. This is our private messaging system and ask them if you may use their image. Some here try to sell their photography, so may be more strict about what they allow used.
I hope you will take a look around the forums. There will be people who would enjoy seeing what you are doing. Just the quick look I had at your blog, you have some beautiful plants in your garden.
