I bought two small freezers last summer to store all my extra veggies as I don't like to can. I just used up my last bag of tomatoes and mixed veggies in a spaghetti sauce. Have nothing left but 5 loaves of tomato bread which will have to last until summer. What do you have left in your freezer or pantry?

Still have some tomato sauce, peas, carrots and potatoes. That's it and that's that.

I have a lot of peppers (shishito, pimental, thai and ghost) because I grow them in pots in my greenhouse in the winter.

In the freezer -- green beans, sweet corn, tomato sauce, frozen peppers.

Canned -- salsa, pickled asparagus, spicy dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, pickled pepperoncini and hot banana peppers.

Other -- potatoes, garlic, a few carrots and beets. Plus dried hot peppers and garlic, for crushed red peppers and garlic powder, dried basil.

But -- it's a long time before I get to start harvesting any fresh food up here! (I do also have some herbs growing under lights, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme ... and marjoram!)
