Does anyone know what this is? Its leaves look like a type of mimosa--like a mimosa nuttallii or mimosa pudica, or maybe even a Pride of Barbados? They grow everywhere. My neighbor has one that is about 8 ft tall that they've let grow beside their house, and we have 2 on our side of the fence that are about 1 ft tall that we haven't ripped out yet. I'm assuming they're all seeded from that big one. There are also a lot on the back side of both of our properties.
They do not have spikes of any kind on their stems. They close their leaves at night--they close down instead of up like a Pudica.
