Why are the new leaves on my rose coming out bent and crinkled? See picture below. Would calcium spray do this? I got a little over-ambitious with some extra I had and was just spraying the remainder of a container so as not to waste it. Hoping I didn't do some damage. It really wasn't that much.
Could it be Roundup drift? I've never seen anything like this on my roses, but I've had some weigelas damaged by Roundup being sprayed too close to my fence. This resembles the effect the Roundup had on their foliage. It didn't last and they're fine now.
I agree with aphids. Clip off the worst leaves (cleaning your clipper well afterward) . Washing the new growth with soapy water (I use dawn dish soap and water) can help get rid of the aphids. It won't hurt the roses. ?Be careful with spraying in hot weather.
