Climbing Trellis Using 4 Cattle Panels

This is a simple and easy-to-build climbing trellis, either permanent or seasonal, for all types of climbing or vining plants.

These panels are very difficult to bend, even a little but have found using a 2x4 on width and standing there on with the long side against a wall it can be done. Also , have cut these in half with bolt cutters and support the halves 18 +\- inches above each other 36+- total ht., on wood or metal stakes lying flat so tomato or other plants grow thru the wire.

They are really tough but that is one reason they last forever. The spacing that I used allows each panel per side to only be pulled over half of the spread and is not hard using a rope with a slip knot.
