Thread OP

Recently purchased a small snow gardenia via amazon. Plant looks like it needs more room.
My question is if it requires regular garden soil or something more porous like cactus soil.

I think I remember you were growing a garden on a rooftop in New York City. Is that right? How is it doing?

Gardenias require the same conditions as Azaleas: Constantly moist with a slightly acid, airy soil. A combination of something like Miracle-gro Moisture Control with some added milled peat would be perfect.
