I'm not sure this will help .... I have a Green Velvet colocasia in a pot on the covered patio. It developed spots when the weather became too hot. I've taken to bringing it inside about 3 pm and putting it back outside early in the morning. New growth is beautiful and vivid. The spotted leaves are now drying up and I'm cutting them off. Good luck!i
I thought about the heat. We've had plenty of 100 degree days lately. I also wondered about the soil mix. We have a bar in the gameroom and I use it for a coffee bar nowdays. I do take the coffee grounds out the door each morning and spread them around the big pots. Could it be too much caffeine? ...Or maybe too much rain? I have quite a few lare pots with EEs in them. This is the only one with spots.

If it was too much caffeine, it probably will crawl out of its pot at some point. Well, if it is the only one that is spotted, I would try moving it back and forth. Nothing else on my patio is having a problem for me, either.
I did check and there were no signs of those awful spider mites. A new leaf has unfurled and it looks fine. Guess it's just going to be a mystery. I will watch more closely next spring ( if it survives the winter chills).
Noticed that my Thailand Giant has the spots, they are only on the older leaves, the majority if not all seem to be associated with the veins. The Black Coral and Coffee Cup EE do not have any of the spots. Wondering if its has to do with a nutrient deficiency .
As Yogi Berra said, “It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.”
I mixed some chicken manure into the Sunshine Mix that I used in the pot. Maybe it was too strong because the new leaves are now spotting also. I broke my moisture meter, so I'm not sure if the pot is soggy at the bottom. It's too big and heavy to check.
@papa. No, it was bagged. It's still growing new leaves, but eventually, they are getting spots too. Guess I'll just tell people it's a new introduction, Spotted Mayan Mask.
