Hello. We planted 5 (what we thought were the same variety) grasses this may staggered in the same bed about 4 feet apart. Two are lush and green and the other three don't even look the same - more yellow and one has even turned brown at the bottom. The tassels are all the same color although on the smaller plants it looks like the are red turning to silver. Our intention was for them to all look the same. We are on the shoreline in Connecticut and have provided photos. Thanks in advance for any expert advice.

Is it possible to post a closer pictures of the flowers? The one doing well looks like a Miscanthus. It's possible the not-so-well one is also but I can't see the flowers clearly enough. If it is, the difference may be in the growing conditions, do they all get equal watering? Red turning to silver may just be normal.
