It's purslane! Lucky you! During the winter you should bring it inside when it stops blooming. Place it in a super hot/sunny window/ One year mine bloomed a little bit until January and then when the weather warmed up it went back outdoors where it bloomed it's heart out!
It is edible and has lots of great vitamins/minerals. Super in salads.
Y'all like this plant? This thing grows ALL OVER my yard!! I never planted it. It keeps coming back everywhere. It does have lovely blooms but if I should keep it how in the world do you contain it?

I made tacos tonight and added fresh purslane to it. It's best when it's the new stems.
I hear you about the drought: we are dry here in Phoenix with rainfall being almost 4" less than normal.
Thanks to you girls and this delightful little plant, I think I'm hooked. Charmed too that it can be eaten.
We normally get far more rainfall than your area but to date, we are at one half of the normal years rain. Tough for sure so I see the charm in this plant.
Are all the Purslanes edible? Seems I ready somewhere not all were...
