Come on now, seriously! Glare

Turkey burgers and venison sausage for everyone!

Actually, I don't blame them, it was pretty darn hot yesterday and they were just relaxing in the shade. It'll be even hotter today, so I expect to see the same animal party again.

There sure look nice and relaxed there Rob. I guess after seeing the tutu rain dance they are just unfazed by anything. Big Grin

WONDERFUL PICTURE THERE, ROB!

We used to have a similar sight on the back hill (on the neighbor's side of the property line), minus the turkeys. Now that we have finally heightened the fence, the deer can't come down and raid, so we don't see them up there so much.

We don't usually see the bucks here, mostly just the does and fawns. I guess it's coming into that time of year again. Whistling

Yup, time to get a big mean dog! Hilarious! Well, maybe not mean, but big and full of energy to chase critters.

The deer on the lower right has quite the rack. Is the black on its head some other type of deer? I don't know if the white-tailed Michigan deer around here have black on their heads like that. Thanks for sharing your pic. Magical shot. ( no pun intended). Hehe

The odd thing about the photo is....they are all males. The deer are all males at different ages and the turkeys were all males.

Was it an animal bachelor party? Blinking

I believe that the deer here in the Bay Area are Black-tailed Deer, which in turn is believed to be a sub-species of Mule Deer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

As far as Rob's bachelor party... given that we mostly only see does and fawns (except for That Time of Year), I have to wonder if the males all routinely hang out together? Confused
