I also rarely see the bucks...
-However- Shortly after I moved here, and before I had a deer fence, I had a pair of bucks actively engaged in battle. My upper lawn used to be a sand volleyball court, and when they were done, the net was in shreds.. That was the beginning of the end of the volleyball court....

it also can land in fields and on "rough" roads. Takeoff and landing requirements are not much either. Here is a JATO takeoff as an example.
