I found blooming one-gallon pots of this salvia this summer at our local Meijer store and got one. Wished I'd bought more of them at the time. I never got it into a container and/or into the ground, but it was constantly in bloom on our porch til sometime in fall.

The Grandstand salvia series was bred to produce new flowers all season, which I hadn't known when I bought it. They only had the red color, but there are other colors in this series. Whenever I see a Grandstand salvia available, I'm getting at least one of them.
