Thank you to the folks who sent seeds for the school. They have quite a selection. I'll post pics on the results thread later.

My packets arrived today too, and made me feel better than I have in the past couple weeks. My mother passed away recently and, gardener and bargain-hunter that she was, I know she would have been impressed with how much I got for $7 due to all you generous people. (I'd included a few vegetables for her, which I'm probably now going to have to learn to grow myself!)

Alana, I didn't realize how many of your seeds I'd picked until I saw them all together in one bundle, but you have such good stuff. I actually did send out a few more packets than I took in, so I'm resolutely not going to feel guilty about being such a hog!

Mine are here Haven't opened them yet, sick with the flu, hoping by weekend I'll get some started. Again Alana for all your hard work and a big thanks to all the generous traders that allowed me to get some great seeds.

I got my package! Thank you @poisondartfrog you did such a great job!! First thing I did was open the package and spread everything out on the table. So excited about so many of these new seeds I got. Tonight's podcast will be about winter sowing and I plan to sing the praises of this swap.

I got the few seeds missing from Sorellina's package today. I'll get those packed up for the 4-5 people that need them this weekend.

I'll have to play that podcast Dave. I have 3-4 things from my haul I'm going to wintersow, but a lot of it is going on the heat mats this weekend.

I just got done going through the seeds, and am very excited to start sowing this weekend! Special thanks to @danita, @mrsbinwy, and @poisondartfrog for the great gifts. Alana, don't worry about sending me the lime basil, I don't really need it. I've got so many seeds I may not even be able to start them all this year. Every year I think I have enough containers and potting mix because surely I won't start as many things this year. After all, the garden beds are all packed to the gills already. Then I join a swap to get just a few things and.... well you know how it goes. You all just had too much good stuff!

Same with me. I dibbed Lime Basil because it looked good to me, but I certainly don't want anyone to incur extra shipping just so I can have that. I already have plenty of other basils. @poisondartfrog if the seeds are already on the way, please just hold on to them for yourself or a future swap.

Got my seeds! I usually crow about them in public, but we have company tonight. I had to make myself sit and eat dinner. These will be my after-dinner treat (along with a coconut cupcake with lemon frosting)! So much fun that's all just the beginning of a new gardening adventure. Thanks for doing this for us, Alana.

Two bonuses. Got the seeds and wife suggested I build a greenhouse. Wow, that came out of nowhere. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today. Thank you all for your kindness.

I got my package late last night as well.

I sat down this morning with coffee and went through the package. I really have some great new to me plants to get started.

I ordered 3 more of those container growing set ups so that I can have room in the greenhouse to start the 1000s of plants I want to grow and don't yet know where they will be planted.
