We love to talk about all aspects of weather, the effect on our gardens, and on our lives. It's a good place to keep a record of weather in our gardens from year to year too, so for that reason let's stay as close to the topic as we can. Please join us and tell us about your weather.

Happy Spring! I was reading what I wrote for the first day of winter on Dec. 21, temp was 16. On this first day of spring we are starting the day two degrees colder with 14. The sun is coming up so maybe we'll have some warm temps to melt more of last weeks snow. Crossing Fingers!

Partly sunny. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the morning.

Happy first day of Spring!

Thanks for the new thread Char!
LOVE apple blossoms!!

Yesterday I found a baby bunny and part of the nest in the outdoor cat's house. He only ate the head off. I think it's too early for babies, but she had dug the nest about 7'' deep. The cat got all of them, but only brought the one home.

Dental appt this morn and a new bridge glued in. I can't wait! Two days after I had the temporary, it popped off. I've been brushing and using Listerine after I eat and popping it back on, lol!

Sally I have had two crowns in the last 2 months and both times the temporary popped off. Thursday I go for my new partial and I hope that will be it at the dentist for awhile. Crossing Fingers!

37 degrees and cloudy here this morning. No wind at all. Sure looks like rain though.

First day of Spring and still lots of snow on the ground. If we don't have a good warm up, this will be a late season again this year. Sad

Shockingly nice here. High should be 85 with wind only 14 mph! I have to remind myself that we can't plan for no freezes until Easter.

First day of spring here was warm but breezy. Don't know what the temp was thou. I raked gravel from my yard along the gravel road today. I got the larger side of the driveway done. I hate it when the snow plow goes by and puts gravel in my yard. I have to rake it back onto the road every spring. I am trying to get it done before the grass starts growing. We are going to be getting some cooler weather along with rain so I won't be doing much outside until the end of the week/weekend.

A 20 percent chance of rain after 3 pm. Mostly cloudy. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

Cindy,
I turn around and have a cleaning in May and hopefully it will be the end of any actual work for a while. I voluntarily wanted this bridge replaced before it became a problem.

Kelli,
Seriously? 70°!

Valarie,
Late springs are depressing.

Barbalee,
I have to wait for the third week in April for the last hard freeze and it can be earlier or later. I think it will be earlier this year.

Char,
Not much change in the temps, lol!

Linda,
What will you wear for the drastic cooling, lol!

Diana,
Yep, Midwest yo yo weather...
I hope you aren't looking at a root canal.

Jeanne,
They do manage to push the gravel off the road don' they. I'm glad that isn't my problem.

I watched an X-File show the other day and it said it was going to be taken off April 1st. I have been binge watching. Thankfully I can chose episodes, so I looked for my favorite about the four Seraph girls. Then I went outside and weeded the edges of a few beds.

Do you suppose you are in for another depressing hot and dry summer?

Valerie,
Nothing happier than melting snow!

Kelli,
That would be a good rain for you!
