Sally, drastic cooling here is the upper 60's to lower 70's. Hilarious! Wearing the same outfit. Whistling

A little snow would be nice right now, Ginny! I am soooooooooooo over spring. Blinking

86 so far today, and finished again at 94 yesterday. I think we have had 9 days of 90 plus temps which I think broke a record.

Outside temperature on my car readout was 46 f. this afternoon That is warmer then it has been for a long time. We are going back into the deep freeze tonight, though, and for the next few days.

Overcast this morning, had a few snow showers, breezy, mostly sunny now and 45f degrees.

Linda, I do prefer the cold to those high temperatures that you have had there, it's much easier to warm up the house than it is to cool it down. Big Grin

I'm terribly far behind too.
Yesterday our high was 55, sunny all day. This morning we had 29 with clouds which hung around most of the day making the high only 46. The snow has really taken a beating though and I can see the tops of the plant labels on both sides of the house now. Tonight we go back to the deep freeze with wind chill below zero for tomorrow and temps maybe in the teens. Thumbs down

Correction we now have had 10 straight days in March of temps 90 or above. We did break a record. Glare

Mostly sunny. East wind around 10 mph.

Char,
LOL! Love the cats in the snow!

Linda,
ROTFL over your drastic cooling! I'm still wearing the same winter clothes myself...

Ginny,
Laughing over the daffodils, but HOW true!

A word of warning.

We got all four kids yesterday and it was a madhouse. Just as we got home my neighbor called. She's a Master Gardener and had been to a meeting. Those red lily devouring bugs are as close as Cedar Rapids, which is usually colder and to the north of me. If you remember Wanda/Wanda'sflowers from DG, she was always having a hard freeze take out her flowers. Anyway, I don't have too many lilies, but I hope they don't make it here. The solution was to spray with Neem oil as soon as they start growing thru the ground.

They are calling for a high of 63F. We got 0.24 inch of rain yesterday. It's a good thing I watered on Monday.

Well out weather today took a drastic temperature change, which is typical of Michigan. 54 yesterday and 37 today. At least we have blue skies and the sun is shining. Shrug!

I hope the lily beetle does not reach you. They are horrible. I keep a really close watch on my lilies and have managed to escape them, but most gardens around here have had their lilies decimated. My mother had a huge stand of tiger lilies that had bern growing for over 50 years at her house, destroyed.

Linda, I lived in the PHX area for years and I do not miss the relentless summer heat. I envy you Arizonans for a couple of months, then I'm glad for my three nice seasons lol.

Today's weather: Dunno the temp right now, but it's nice enough that I've be outside most of the day... (Check of the phone- 54)
