Last year, I planted Jack Frost Brunera in a bed that is shaded by a cedar tree. They looked beautiful. I also had a lime green variety of brunera. In any case, the lime green variety is doing well this spring, but None of the Jack Frost have come back. Can they thrive under a cedar tree? There are also Sycamore and Pecan trees that provide plenty of shade in this particular planting bed. I live in Missouri and the deer are a big problem in my area, so I like brunera because they will not eat them.
