Hi Fellow Gardeners!

I planted a few things and merrily left them to grow on my windowsill. Made the rookie mistake of not labelling anything and now I've been to sleep many times since then I've no recollection of what I planted! Can anyone help?

I'm fairly certain it will be a flower of some type, just cant work out which

The lovely plants in your first photos look like Begonias (Begonia) of some sort but I'm not sure which one, we have lots listed in our database with photos for comparison: https://garden.org/plants/sear...

I'm not sure about the plant in your second photo but others might recognize it and be along soon to offer suggestions or a more exact ID.

The plants in the 2nd photo are Echinacea/Coneflowers.

My eyes aren't the best and now that I look at the plants in the first photo, I may be totally wrong about Begonia.

No, you are right Lin, they are begonias.

I vaguely recall my mum giving me some left over trailing begonia bulbs earlier in the spring, so that makes perfect sense - at least I now know where to plant them - I have no idea what colour they will be, but they look lovely and healthy so I shall plant up, and watch this space!

Thanks Janinilulu - that also makes sense, I know I planted up some Echinacea bulbs - I've always been fascinated by the giant daisy style flowers, and was positively excited when I came across some bulbs in my local Lidl!

The only thing now is, I thought I had identified the Echinacea sprouts and have now planted god knows what out into my garden

When I get home later, I'll have to upload a picture of what I thought was the Echinacea........... I really must remember to label things!

Ok so if the last pic was the Echinacea can anyone identify this one? I had thought this was the Echinacea but perhaps not now 🤔

Excellent thank you all! It all makes perfect sense - I actually now recall looking specifically for something Orange that would attract the bees!
