I got out to take some photos this morning and was chased out of the garden by some showers finally. But, I did have two seedlings bloom that caught my attention immediately even though they were at the very back of the garden.
Sdlg.#2:
Sdlg.#6: I like the color of the first bloom on this one much better this year than last year. Of course, it was early, cloudy, and it is a dark purple...we shall see how it stands up to the rain and when the sun comes out see how it holds it's color.
I had two more to bloom this morning, the foliage is looking so much better this year than last year. The cool weather this morning was causing some of the daylilies to have a lot of problems getting opened.
#10 With this edge I actually had to pry it open a little, the warm weather should cure that.
#11:This one had no problem opening this morning.
I accidentally put yesterday's blooms on the April seedling thread, but I'm more with it today! We've been putting in a drainage ditch for erosion control and my husband is going to till up a new spot for some more seedling beds, so I've been super tired by the time I get to post. But yippie, new beds coming soon!!
Lots of new faces blooming today, with lots of sibs and half sibs so some look very similar. I'm going to throw in a few I've already posted too just because they look nicer with each bloom and I just can't help myself!

Love the pink and pattern on this one (posted previously with wrong plant number)

Like the last one Larry, I an having the same problem with these cool mornings.
I have a lot of seedlings with the same pollen parent Regina, when I find something that works I tend to use it to death. You have some great seedlings with lots of green by using ESB and RFK. I also like you first two.
Thanks Ginny, I need all the promoting I can get. Go ahead and bid, it only hurts for a little while.
Two of the seedlings.
