I was run out of the garden before I had time to finish taking photos, but I wanted to at least take the names of the new ones blooming in case the storm(high winds and rain predicted) tore off the blooms.
Grace From Above: I removed the cage after the photo, will take a better photo after the rain passes.

'Circle of Beauty' First bloom ever in my garden.

I also had 'Night Wings', 'Persian Market', to bloom and possibly 'Scatterbrain'. The bloom on 'Scatterbrain' looked very strange so I am thinking it could possibly be a return of 'Flore Pleno' in that bed, however none of the 'Flore Pleno' I have scattered around is blooming just yet. I hope to get more photos in between showers

We are expecting a rain storm today as well. I moved all of the newly potted plants to the patio which is covered. I hope it doesn't damage my scapes and buds in the other beds.

Those are two good looking blooms you have this morning!

I made it back down to the garden, we only got a lot of wind and about a 1/4 inch of rain. I did have a few blooms destroyed by the wind and rain, but in general the garden looked pretty good after the storm passed.
'Night Wings': First bloom this season on it.

Here is the Flore Pleno/Kwanso bloom in my clump of 'Scatterbrain', I dug up the entire clump and move it to a new location. It will become a gift for my daughter. I thought it was strange the first blooms of the season on Flore Pleno/Kwanso was in the middle of a clump of 'Scatterbrain'.

Love that Night Wings! You have such beautiful daylilies Larry...... Are you located close to Birmingham? Or further south? My youngest son just moved to Birmingham last summer and I have made numerous trips since - maybe I need to look up some daylily gardens on my next trip! Drooling

Edited because I got so busy looking at the photos and forgot to upload my new bloom - New Ways to Dream Smiling

@Gen,
Check out Dancing Daylilies, I keep meaning to run by there one day on a trip up to our daughters in Hartselle. I have never ordered anything from them, but they do have some nice listings and good prices. We go right through B-ham a lot. We are further south zone 8b.
That throat on 'Night Wings' almost looks like it has a candle sitting down in it.

The bloom season is heating up:

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/67bd53
Green Rainbow--first bloom and new to the garden, only been in the ground a couple of weeks, but it arrived with the scape and we are very happy that the move didn't bother it at all.

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/f48491
Two Sues--arrived last fall, and this is first bloom. We had a cold morning and all the daylilies had trouble opening, so most of these pics taken this evening.

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/94112c
Dragonfly Dawn, first bloom struggled to open and made it this p.m.

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/89db31
True Blue Heart, almost missed seeing this one bloom, didn't show until this evening.

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/d2ac84
Little Trooper first bloom, same story as all, opened fully by 5:00 p.m.

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/8360e6
Li'l Red Wagon--another fall arrival from last year, so first bloom ever. Very heavy substance, fully open in the evening. The color is intense reddish black, my camera doesn't show it. I did not realize how ruffled the petal edges are.

Thumb of 2017-05-02/Avedon/83a144
Stealth Bomber--by this evening had opened up to two large flowers, really lovely. This is the second full year and has produced nine scapes so far.

Nice ones, Avedon. I've had the same issues with some blooms here, even though it's been quite a bit warmer than it was. Seems like they have to hit their sweet spot with temps and then they open right up.

This bloom gets prettier every time I look at it, but not the best photo.

I knew when I walked out the door this morning things were a bit cooler. However, I did not really think about it being cool enough to affect the daylily blooms opening...wrong!
I was really surprised to see them having such a hard time trying to pry their first blooms open this morning. They may not look very good now, but I know they will improve.
One that did not appear to have a hard time was a first bloom of the season on 'All American Chief': Nine inch bloom first try.

'Bali Watercolor' Had a very nice fist bloom of the season
Thumb of 2017-05-02/Seedfork/da9120
'Sunday Gloves' was having a very hard time and as usual is blooming down in the foliage again. But it is the first bloom of the season on here.

'Lifting Me Higher' Has a lot of room for improvement wit this first bloom of the season.

'Hush Little Baby' Looked very good with her first bloom of the season.I did not remember her looking so nice.

'Geneva Firetruck' Well at least this bloom opened.
Thumb of 2017-05-02/Seedfork/f5ce7c
'Black Fathom Depths' I just planted a few days ago it seems, but it had it's first bloom ever in my garden today. Tiny plant, with tiny scapes and buds at the present and it doesn't get very large, but hopefully it gets a lot better.

Larry I agree about it looking like it has a candle down the throat - very stunning. I will try to check them out - maybe I can even swing by my next time that way..... of course, DL season maybe done by then. May be several weeks before we head back that way because our other son needs help with some things at his house- IF we ever get over this bronchitis we are fighting.............. I'm on week 2 - husband is heading into week 3 and no real end in sight.

Was cool here this morning as well and I had several struggling to open when I left for work but no time for photos since they weren't looking too well. Smiling

Love that Dragonfly Dawn, Wild Dreams and All American Chief!

My Bali Watercolor hasn't really increased much over the winter. I'm curious to see how it does here. It's in a prime spot in my garden so if it doesn't increase and do well it will get moved to a "not so prime" location nodding nodding

Larry, in time Black Fathom Depths should do well for you. Last year, ours was just outstanding, but it was three years old then, and we had that spectacular bloom season. This year, BFD has only four scapes and seems to be struggling. It may be the "wax and wan" thing going on--really "waxed" last year and is now in "wan" cycle, I guess I hope next year it will do better.

Larry, I grow night wings and cant wait to see it bloom. So far, only scapes, but in a few days it'll start putting on its show.

Had these a couple days ago and yesterday. The pictures aren't that great and the suns beat a couple of them up. To be honest, I'm a bit embarrassed to share. But, I will anyway.

'Indian Sky' is new CV in my garden.
