I planted 'Ming Porcelain' on Oct. 15, 2015. Not sure how many fans, maybe four looking at the photo.
Today I took these photos, there are over 25 fans in the clump, there are four rebloom scapes getting ready to bloom (counting the one with the bloom), and I found one new rebloom scape forming down in the foliage. As can be seen in the photo 'Ming Porcelain" waits till later in the day to fully open. It has the plainest bloom of almost any plant in the garden, but I still like it very much. I measured the single bloom shown in the photo as 5 inches. The scapes averaged only 24 inches tall, so a little shorter in my garden this year that the registered height.
The first blooms on this plant opened this year way back on April 21st, and it has had a series of rebloom scapes since then. The plant only showed two way branching mostly and only averaged 6 buds per branch, but it does send up a good number of scapes so the low bud count and the low number of branches is not readily apparent during peak bloom.
The plants does show some rust (not sure there is a plant in my garden that does not show some rust at times) but it is in my opinion pretty rust resistant.
