Thanks Arlene..someone suggested clematis rooguchi... https://www.brushwoodnursery.c... funny.. very similar looking plant..one credits the orient as where it came from and the other Belgium...mystery solved or close enough here..

Not Rooguchi. I have that one and there is no white edge on it.
