Ballerena de Saval and Sonoma Amethyst for me. Drat!!!!! Will have to put in pots and then bury in a snow bank somewhere. Ground is way too hard to dig. D'Oh!

Glad I had a few bucks left to spend. Have wanted Sonoma Amethyst for some time. Plus I ordered three at 33% off from Hidden Springs but they ship next fall.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I also got Ballerena de Saval, Mary! Such a great price and beautiful lavender color that I cannot pass up! If anyone has some free time after the turkey dinner, check out the new offerings at Solaris Farms. Though the site is not updated for ordering yet, Solaris Farms website looks like it has uploaded the majority of the pics and peonies to be offered for sale 2018. Some of the new registrations are spellbindingly gorgeous!

Anya, I also got Sonoma Apricot! I love apricot color so the reason for the purchase. To get the free shipping, I added Vanilla Schnapps. So strange that they are offering VS now when I did not see it offered at all during the whole summer. Solaris has some gorgeous newly registered peonies that have VS as their parent.

Karen, with help from my friend we got free shipping too Hurray! It was hard to choose and I already did not want to buy anything this year... and Sonoma Apricot was not on my top 5 list.... but I just could not miss this sale! Sonoma Apricot looks so pretty on a picture, I hope it's good as a bush too. My friend got Sonoma Welcome, Ballarena de Saval and fernleaf hybrid. Looking forward to seeing her peonies too!

Vanilla Schnapps is a very nice peony but as I read in a few places, prefers warm climate. And I want to stay away from expensive peonies, at least for awhile Hilarious! I agree it was strange to see it added in the end of the season together with Do Tell ($30 full price!). Maybe they received their order of new roots and wanted to sell some before planting ???

I am amazed that you got free shipping Anya. Almost never do they (vendors) offer free shipping to Alaska. Congratulations on your lovely purchases. After seeing all the new peonies people are buying, next spring should be amazing to see.

Adelmans roots were well above and beyond this year, weren't they? I thin we're going to have some gorgeous first year blooms next spring!!!
