I know some of you in the warmer zones are already placing orders for the 2018 season, so I thought I'd get a thread started now. You can list what you purchase locally that you're growing for 2018 here also. That's what I do and that's why I started the thread this way. I buy and order other plants besides salvia and agastache plants and post the varieties here, so I can keep track of the orders and remember what I got and grew in a particular year.

One that I always grow is salvia Amistad, a must have. An outstanding photo of Amistad is from HamiltonSquare.

Hi Marilyn,

I plan to order from FBTS for the first time this year and I am thinking I will order some more salvia blepharophylla since I accidentally killed mine last year. Thumbs down
I also want Salvia cuatrecasana x guaranitica 'Elk Magenta'. Also thinking about Salvia splendens van houttei, and maybe Salvia pulchella x involucrata. But I'm sure many more will go into that list. I love Amistad, it blooms all the time for me here in zone 10a, it really is the best I've ever grown. I just got Wendy's Wish and it's wonderful! Other than that I ordered some salvia seeds from Robin's Salvias. I ordered Salvia Curviflora, Salvia Guarantica var violacea, Salvia Roemeriana, and Salvia Elegans Honey Melon. Just today all but Roemeriana have started to germinate Hurray! Fingers crossed they make it to maturity.

I have Salvia indica still alive and am hopeful to see flowers this year. S. oxyphora is also overwintering indoors. I hope S. cardiophylla returns.

Outside I have pots of S. nutans and S. penstemonoides. I hope they survive.

I hope to start seeds of Royal Bumble, in addition to others I've collected in recent years.

Ooooohhh great list. Let us know how they do for you. Have you grown any of them previously? I've always been curious about S. Penstemonoides, it looks beautiful. They all look beautiful. I especially like the look of Agastache Fall Fiesta, gorgeous. The hummingbirds are gonna love you. Hurray!

Carly,

I've grown Agastache 'Desert Sunrise' in the ground before and love the colors. I'm going to plant this one in a container.

I've grown Agastache 'Red Happiness' before in the ground and in a container. Gorgeous color! One of my very favorite Agastaches. I'm going to plant it in a container.

I've grown Salvia penstemonoides before in the ground and this one I'm going to plant in a container. The color is very beautiful and I love the flowers.

I've grown Salvia 'Burgundy Seduction' in a container before and that's what I'm going to do with this one. Beautiful color.

I love HCG new Agastache 'Fall Fiesta'. Love the colors! Looking forward to seeing it in bloom. It's a cross of Agastache 'Ava' and Agastache rupestris Glowing Embers, both of which I've grown and love.
