How to get rid of bindweeds and bermuda grass among my other plants that I do not want to be killed. I have been trying for many years with no success.

At our previous places we fought both of those for years with not much luck. Hitting them repeatedly with Roundup works about as well as anything. There's no way to dig them out with all of their roots. One tiny piece of root starts it all over again. We never eradicated all of it, but got it down to a more manageable level.

Only way for Bermuda, is to remove one foot of soil, and replace with clean soil.
I imagine it would eliminate the bindweed also.

Your going to have to move plants out, and be sure to get any grass stolens out of there roots, before replanting.

I've found Bermuda roots as far down as I've ever cared to dig.... 2 foot, 3 foot, still finding stolons.

When battling plants with root storage capabilities, I've succeeded by covering soil with sheet plastic and then wall to wall carpet, and then mulch, and never touch again.... Place container garden on top.

Don't know how to salvage the roses.

Not very encouraging, but I appreciate your sharing your experiences with them. I am still trying to finish what I am doing, and see what happens.
