This miniature daylily has been a very good performer in my garden. I bought it a few years ago on the recommendation of a local daylily nursery. It has been true to its specs in my garden. It is quite a vibrant colour and it seems to glow in the garden. I did some crosses using its pollen in 2016, and will be curious to see the results. It is a small plant, and doesn't take much room in the garden and makes a good choice for the front of the border. It has been very hardy and dependable in my northern garden.

Thanks, Nikki. It is quite an unusual colour and the blooms are always perfect.

I bought three single fans of Cosmopolitan in the fall of 2019, and since then this little daylily has been an excellent performer for me in zone 8b and has become a favorite. The three fans have increased to nine since then, and it has been a prolific bloomer. This year (2021), it started blooming on March 30, and today (July 19), it is still going strong with a few buds left to open.

Scapes have been the regulation 18" for me, and the plant has not had a speck of rust (knock on wood). This one is a keeper. It apparently does well everywhere! I recommend it for those who appreciate a small, pretty bloom standing well above its healthy foliage.

Grown In TX. Consistent performer. Scapes shorter than registered having to fight off the moles and tree roots.
Starting to get a good clump.
Opened a week ahead of peak bloom here

18 yr old in my subtropical garden!
I agree with Nan. Here in the coastal subtropics of Australia it has survived neglect during years of drought and now excessive rain. It has bloomed and rebloomed for long periods in a large pot and also in the ground, both in semi-shade.
I'll check, but have never noticed it being rusty.
