I got this from Paul Owen & it's a Reverse Bitone. The photo by Calif_Sue isn't showing that - not sure why.
But I've had this for 4 yrs now & it always looks the same except it more often than not has more pink.
I went to Paul's website & it's showing it looking like mine - but with more pink.

I removed it, he may have posted the wrong one when I added it. I added his updated one.

(I have added thousands of images from other vendors with their permission. If you hover your mouse over the thumbnail or enlarge the images, you see the caption I add, it's a clickable link to the nursery)

Thanks for the responses above.

I didn't even know anybody would notice what I said. ha ha. I did learn that if you enlarge photos on here that it gives more info., including where the picture came from. Did not know about hovering the mouse over the thumbnail though. Thanks for that Sue. I didn't even know you were a 'plant admin' either. I did notice that you have posted many photos though which is so very helpful.

This place is my go-to place to check out photos that others have posted when I'm considering purchasing a daylily. Sometimes the newer ones don't have photos at all - or only one.

But I have found this feature so helpful and I'm very glad that we are allowed to post our shots of individual blooms, buds or scapes, etc. They aren't just for show - they really serve a greater purpose.

I've found that sometimes the photos that are on the AHS aren't that great and it's hard to really get an idea of how a certain one is actually supposed to look.

When many people share what the plant looks like in their own garden - you can pick up on the finer details. Sometimes what is pink in my garden is a lavender in somebody else's yard. Sometimes DLs with design patterns (I'll use a real example) such as 'Get Jiggy' don't show up for a few years.

What I've learned in my short time of buying, planting and raising DLs is that each one is really different; but they usually do follow the description that the hybridizer has written about them. And they should.

It takes time to add DLs to this site. But it's so well worth it. Thank you to all who share!!! Thank You!
