Hate to hear how your cat and you are suffering in the heat! I think the not eating is normal in the heat. Wonder if K.C. would enjoy a little spoonful of cold ice cream. Pretty sure I would.

Linda, K.C. is very old.....I'm not sure what will happen with her, but that's a great idea! I'll have the car today, so I'll pick up a pint of ice cream. I would probably be surrounded by three cats, but sharing is caring!!

We do freeze cool whip size tubs of water to put in their water bowls. As a big chunk of ice, it melts slower....
