Hummingbirder Region: Iowa Salvias
I liked this salvia last year. It was not necessarily a consistently-good bloomer, but it's a beautiful salvia when it's blooming well. I will certainly be growing it again this year.

I grew three of these gorgeous beauties last year that I received from FBTS. I had two at the end of our sunny driveway (one received afternoon afternoon shade) and one I had in the backyard that got more shade than the other two.

All were in their own containers.

The one in the backyard did the best and bloomed the best and I thought that it was the perfect spot for it to be whenever I get one next (my neighbor has a large red maple tree close to where the container was).
