Look up Liatris mucronata while you are at it. I'm attaching a photo of mine. It puts out very long stems (for lack of a better word) which lay over. The older the bulb gets, the more stems it produces.

I've got extra seeds if anyone is interested.

Yes, it looks more like the narrow leafed variety Narrowleaf Gayfeather (Liatris punctata var. mucronata) rather than Liatris spicata.
