I cannot recommend ordering from Smokey's. My experience is but one person's, but let me share it with you.
I've ordered from Smokey's twice: once in 2015 (I believe), and once in 2017. The first time I ordered, I got one of their 25-fan deals. I generally knew what I was getting (i.e. not the best nor the most variance, nor labeled plants), but probably two-thirds of what I received were yellow. I did get a few ones I really liked (one of them was Jo Barbre - which I love and is so unique, which made it easy for me to figure out; also got some really tall stella-like lemon and red daylilies in the batch) and again, I realized that at like a buck or two per plant, I wasn't getting the very best.
My order last year, however, was a different story. I ordered 9 different dayliles (Double Dragon, Cameron Quantz, Common Sense, Do The Twist, Persian Priest, Carlotta, Alias Peter Parker, Green Eyes Wink & Mae Graham). They also sent me an unregistered plant.
===DIDN'T GET WHAT I ORDERED===
To start with, the Persian Priest I received was definitely not Persian Priest. What I got has a tiny burgundy bloom instead of the distinct purple and gold shown on their website. In addition, Do The Twist (which didn't bloom until this year) isn't Do The Twist: it's a beautiful daylily that I received (attached below) but nothing at all comparable to Do The Twist. Carlotta was the same situation: what I got was red and yellow, but the bloom looks nothing like the actual flower.
The other ones I was generally satisfied with and appear to be what they were supposed to be, but - and this is very important:
===SMOKEY'S PHOTOS ARE SUPER MISLEADING===
I was a fool to not Google and/or use this website to double-check the veracity of what was being sold. For example, their Carlotta photo looks like an immaculate frilly double, whereas the actual bloom is nothing like that (attached below is a comparison of what they had on their website vs a standard photo from here). Maybe that was a unique bloom and technically accurate, but very misleading at the very least. A lot of their daylily photos were like this last time I checked. At minimum, most of their photos appear to be highly doctored with contrast and saturation bumped up to make the daylilies look more stunning than they actually are. I think many places do this, but it was/is on steroids at Smokey's.
I never bothered complaining because, hey, I got 20 fans out of it and most are decent; it's usually too big of a hassle to bother with returning plants and the like unless you've shelled out a lot of money. Still, to have one-third of what you receive not be what you ordered is ridiculous.

I might make a recommendation, since I believe you're taking a risk with Smokey's anyway: I've heard a lot of good about Homestead Farms. A friend ordered from them and was very pleased (of course, I know people who were satisfied with Smokey's, too!). Their prices are super reasonable, they have plenty of gorgeous multi-fan varieties for $5-10, their reviews on Dave's Garden are 65-1 (positive-negative) and the reviews on here seem good too. I'm going to give them a try this year once I have the cash to spare. At minimum, I think they'll be a good place to go to for genetics. Oakes is of course a great place as well, but some of their plants are just way too overpriced when you do comparison shopping (but you get a hefty clump for what you pay; all depends on what you're wanting).
