One of several croton trees I have...new growth comes out green then gets brilliant yellow splashes as the leaf ages and matures

I love variegated foliage and could fill this page with photos of some of my favorites!

I think I have that same Aglaonema! My friend gave me a piece years ago and I grew it out. I think it was called Fruit Salad or Fruit Confetti or something?

Oh my I used to have Canna Stuttgart! I forgot all about that! I loved it! Yours is beautiful.

I really enjoy them, had them for about 10-15 years up in the tundra, all containerized 4-5 months out 8-7 months in the basement.

Gina, I really like that variegated Phal ... never saw one with variegated foliage before!

RJ, I love the leaves on that Canna Stuttgart, and the bloom is gorgeous too!

Another croton...these have names but unfortunately I have forgotten them. This one is less common, with the predominantly white/cream variegation instead of the usual bright red/orange/yellow.

Thanks!!!!! That sounds familiar now! I will put a new tag. Its growing beside a more colorful one that has a lady's name, that's all I can remember, I think its Anne something.

Is the other one perhaps Croton (Codiaeum variegatum 'Andreanum') or Croton (Codiaeum variegatum 'Ann Rutherford')

These are some of my favorite variegates that I grow in my yard:
Aspidistra 'Milky Way', Aspidistra 'Moon and Stars', and Aspidistra variegata. The last one is an odd little Aspidistra called "Dragon Tongue'. I'm not sure if its hardy so I keep it in the greenhouse

Aha ... I had a Croton (Codiaeum variegatum 'Mrs. Iceton') once; it is a pretty one for sure!

I've never grown Aspidistra, don't know why ... I really love those leaves of your Variegated Cast Iron Plant (Aspidistra elatior 'Variegata')

This used to be (and probably still is) an expensive plant and I can't figure out why because its very wide spread. I remember seeing it at the nursery in the early 2000's for $25 for a gallon. I've propogated mine by spreading clumps around in the yard in shady locales. Not paying for new starts LOL.

This is something that looks a lot like it but I can't grow it outdoors....this is the variegated version of the Sansevieria that used to be known as Mason Congo. I don't know what the current nomenclature is. I bought this for a price I will not publicly disclose, for one barefoot leaf about 10 years ago (PM me if you want to know LOL) with a good root system and grew it up. I have since divided it and have 4 containers. It is very slow growing, and the variegation is different on every leaf, some highly, some not. Very slow growing. But the leaves get about 3-3.5 feet and wide like regular Masoniana. This is the mother and a baby division
