Thread OP

I have this prayer plant which has done so well since I got it, but suddenly all of the leaves have curled! They are not turning brown or yellow, but the bottoms are not turning purple and they won't flatten. It is in medium light, I tried moving it around the house but I finally put it back where it originally was and it still isn't happy. Could anyone give me advice to help it? Crying

I would cut this branch and lay it overnight in a bucket of water so that the leaves were also in the water. If in the morning the leaves become elastic, you can put a branch in a mini-greenhouse. The soil in the cutting pot should be light. For example, coconut soil. This should be covered with plastic bag, but leave a small hole for ventilation. Put in a warm and bright place and spray with water.

I learned the hard way not to keep a prayer plant in an unglazed pot. It allows the roots to dry out too much and then its' not happy. Is it cold outside too?

Just wondering your location if you are in the north, south, etc, and if you could take a photo higher up so we could see the top of the soil that would be great. If that is the only stem, I don't know at this point what I would recommend for a fix.

Your Prayer Plant is completely dehydrated and changing its location will not fix that. Either the soil is getting too dried out or the soil has stayed so wet that the roots have suffocated and are no longer able to absorb water even when the soil is damp.

If it doesn't perk up after a thorough watering, then it is likely that the roots are beyond recovery.
