There is a lot of confusion and lots of opinions as to what is the "real" Salvias hians. The famous picture of plant collector Chris Chadwell by this one in full flower(just search for it) has been the stake driven in the ground by many. Very few species cause as many disagreements.

So is our new variety really Salvia hians? I believe so, but we are clearly offering it "as is", to avoid conflict.

The largest, most floriferous and easiest to grow of this type we have seen. The result of years of selection. And what do you know, the original seed came from Chris.

Thanks Kermit.

Here's Kermit's pic and link. Click the smaller pic, as it will enlarge into a much larger pic to view. Pretty color and pretty flowers.
