Sempervivum for sale. Shipped bare root in the U.S only, $1.00 per offset.
Shipping is Flat Rate, United States Post Office.
Small Flat Rate: $8.30
Medium Flat Rate: $15.05
Large Flat Rate: $21.10
Payment is made by Paypal.
Please notice that the Notes column to the right of each cultivar shows if that plant is available or not at this time. Updates will be made as some become available or others sell out.
Here is my list:
https://garden.org/lists/view/...

A few photos from today showing what an offset will look like. Please remember some cultivars are quite large, and others are very tiny. This will determine the size of the offset. Only young offsets will be sent so that you will have several years of production before the rosette blooms and dies, leaving behind many offspring to carry on. Smiling

'Andrenor' You can see the harvested offset laying on the colony. These photos are just example of what you would receive.

Wow! What a list!!! I'm just getting started in succulents, cacti & similar plants & there are SEVERAL I'm interested in. Do you know how many would fit in those boxes?

One of your listings is for:

Rollers (Sempervivum globiferum subsp. hirtum 'from Biele Karpaty'

What is a roller?

Hi Kathy,

A roller is a sempervivum that produces offsets on fragile/tiny stolons/stems that break away from the parent rosette, rolling, until it finds a place to settle. See how these have rolled away from the parent rosette. They can even land on their little tops, but some how manage to send roots out that will pull them into position for growing. Very tough plants and so much fun.

I only send young offsets, so I can fit anywhere from 15 to 20 offsets in a small flat rate box. Less if heuffelii are ordered. Even the young ones tend to be much larger.
Hope this information is helpful? Smiling

Hi Robin, it is so good to hear from you. I would love to see photos of your semp bed if you have time. How do they do in your Michigan summers?

They seem to like our Michigan summers just fine, they also get through our winters. I've had to move them, apparently they are a great snack food for opossums. I'm sure I lost a few cultivars but the remaining ones are multiplying nicely. I'll post some pics when the outside temps are more garden friendly. Hilarious! I'm a fair weather friend here in zone 6a.
God blessed me with dirt.
