I wanted to add Intermediate Bearded Iris, Iris 'Autumn Treat' to the database.

Would 'Autumn Treat' be the cultivar? If so, I type in "Iris Autumn Treat", correct?

I tend to do this wrong every time, so just checking.

Are you sure about the name? There is no registered iris cultivar named Autumn Treat.

There is an IB named August Treat in the database: Intermediate Bearded Iris (Iris 'August Treat')

My tip for adding a plant is open an existing one, click the edit name to see how it's entered, then back out.
Cultivar is the name, like your name, so you only add the name, not the 'Iris' part, that belongs in the genus field.
But it sounds like it may be already in the database.

Because you typed Iris Autumn Treat? No result because no such plant.

I literally just realized I've been typing Autumn instead of August. My head is somewhere else.
