I bought a "Moonlight" from Khwarunee, a Thailand grower who sells on Ebay. The flower fades in the sunlight, but it's gorgeous, creme colored. There are Skipper butterflies around that I've seen going deep into my Adenium flowers, so I was amazed and so happy to find seed pods on Moonlight. As I watched the pods grow, I must have said "Please, please please!!" about a hundred times a day. The pods finally opened yesterday, one in the morning, and the other late in the afternoon.

The seeds are big, and a little odd, with one end rounded. There were ten in one pod, and maybe twelve in the other pod.

I'm being stingy with these, planting them all myself. BUT!! My Double Santa has fore baby pods, and I'll share those seeds with youse guys.

Hurray! for you Melissa, you are lucky indeed, white double are probably harder to get seeds from, and both of your adeniums are to drool over for Drooling I hope you get lots more from them, remember me for the nexts pods you get if they produce enough to share. some of my adeniums have started to bloom but I haven't been able to take photos of them, I got to get me a few double AA batteries for the camera

Your Friend Wilfred. Group hug

Doubles come from double seed about 20%, meaning, two double babies from ten seeds. I'll have to start a list! A lot of my plants seem to be starting tiny seed pods, I hope they all grow!

I had a pod last year that was empty. Wow, anticipate for months, then pfffft, no seeds.

New babies I started at the Botannical Gardens where I do volunteer work in the "for sale" nursery. Just pink seeds.
