If you don't include the common green one, then it might be More Honey which came close to pushing everything else out of the pot.

So far the winner at my house would be Purdy's Big Red. She produced more than 50 offsets last year. I removed the bottom ones when they started forming roots and she just kept popping out more. Her leaves all but disappeared while trying to give her all to the babies.

This is when she first got started May of 2010.

Here she is 1 1/2 months later.

Surgery the next day. I was trying to save the rosette, the babies were eating her alive. Sad

Here she is several months later in Sept 2010, nicely recovered. I was so surprised at how her leaves came back.

Thank you Janice. I find it very helpful to see all the stages of a semp, all the better to really know it and find the perfect place for it.

Blooms from Purdy's Big Red

And here she was as a tiny new offset from SMG. You can see how tiny she was in comparison with the plant tag.

Lynn, this is the first Spring for many of mine and I am astounded at how some are growing and need to be moved and, as you said, surgical intervention. Hilarious!

Janice, Can you tree-mail me your list - I have trouble finding people's lists when they are in these forum threads?

Lynn is right! I will not be able to do much trading this year, but do want to seriously expand my collection of the Pacific series. So far, I have liked every one I've seen!

Currently I have:

Pacific Blazing Star**
Pacific Blue Ice*
Pacific Country Cousins
Pacific Deep
Pacific Devil's Food*
Pacific Feather Power
Pacific Hazy Embers*
Pacific Hep*
Pacific Jordan*
Pacific Mauve
Pacific Opal
Pacific Plum Fuzzy
Pacific Red Tide
Pacific Rim
Pacific Shadows (darker)
Pacific Shadows (redder)
Pacific Teddy

(* indicates a few available to trade for other Pacific's)

My research says that there are about 70 different Pacific's. Alas, even with Zoftic, I will have less than 1/4 of the varieties. SMG
Succulents seems to stock different ones at different times, so I know that there are more out there. The chase is on Drooling
